Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. How do I activate the IntelliType?

    To activate the IntelliType:

    1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
    2. Scroll down and tap on General.
    3. Tap on Keyboard.
    4. Select Keyboards at the top.
    5. Tap on Add New Keyboard... and select "IntelliType" from the list.
    6. After adding, tap on "IntelliType" in the list of active keyboards and enable Allow Full Access. (This is required for the keyboard to function properly.)
  2. I've added the IntelliType. How do I use it in apps?

After you've added and activated the IntelliType:

    1. Open any app that requires typing.
    2. When the default keyboard appears, tap on the globe icon located at the bottom left corner of the keyboard.
    3. This will switch between keyboards. If you have multiple keyboards installed, keep tapping the globe icon until the IntelliType appears.
  3. Sometimes the IntelliType doesn't appear in the list when I tap the globe icon. What should I do?

On rare occasions, the IntelliType may not appear immediately in the keyboard list. To resolve this:

    1. Double click the home button (or swipe up from the bottom if you're using an iPhone without a home button) to bring up the app switcher.
    2. Swipe away (or kill) the app you're trying to type in.
    3. Reopen the app and try accessing the keyboard again by tapping on the globe icon.
  4. Why do I need to give "Full Access" to the IntelliType?

Full Access permission allows the IntelliType to fully function and provide you with its AI capabilities. We value your privacy and data. The IntelliType does not store or transmit any personal information or keystrokes.

  5. Are there any other issues I should be aware of when using the IntelliType?

Always make sure your iOS device is updated to the latest version for optimal keyboard performance. If you experience any unusual behavior, try restarting your device or reinstalling the IntelliType. If the problem persists, please contact our support team.
